GOLF FOR A CAUSE IS THIS SATURDAY @ Mays Landing Golf and Country Club

It has been 11 years and 4 relapses later, Dean is in remission, healthy and surfing stronger than ever. Passing his good fortune on, we are blessed to be able to serve our goals through the generosity of our thousands of supporters.

With the support of the Board, our loyal volunteers and participants, the 10th Annual Golf For A Cause is expected to be the biggest and most successful in our history. We anticipate an out pouring of support due to the tremendous amount of people we have been able to help, especially this past year.

“2012 was a year to be remembered for us, we lost people we helped in the past, we had very successful and outstanding events with an outpouring of support, to have our communities endure a Dercho, and then the horrific results of Hurricane Sandy” said Jill Perry-Zaborowski, Board member of the DRCF and Chairperson for the event, speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees. “We know that no amount of money is going to cure the individuals we help, we simply want to make their struggles easier by not having to focus on finances as much while they are battling cancer. We are extremely sorry to have lost past recipients and want to honor their memory by raising awareness and helping others in their battle, especially now with those we help needing extra support because of the effects of Sandy” she said.

The Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation is a New Jersey Non Profit and 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. The Foundation was created in 2001 when New Jersey Professional Surfer, Dean Randazzo was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes. Since successfully battling the disease four times, Dean continues to proudly represent the Garden State all over the world.

Donations to the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation are used to fund cancer research, promote cancer awareness and assist individuals battling cancer both financially and emotionally.
The Golf for a Cause is a FUN scramble golf tournament with hot dog lunch and a BBQ dinner, an amazing raffle and a fantastic time. You do not have to be a great golfer to play in this event and have a great time. Entry fee for the golf tournament is $100.00 per player and includes greens fees, a gift bag and event t-shirt, lunch, BBQ dinner and more. There are also many different levels of sponsorship opportunities available on the form and a need for raffle items.
